Refund & Delivery Policy · Draft v1.0

A clear promise, measured from a fair starting point.

Effective date: not yet effective. Exact Central Time and detected local time will appear with every production-ready order.

When the clock starts

The immutable production-ready timestamp is recorded only after cleared payment, all required inputs and photos, moderation, five generated previews, character approval, completed interview, approved scene outline, and all required consent. A customer-requested change that removes readiness pauses the timer, records the reason, and requires acknowledgment of the revised due date before resuming.

Promised delivery

Refunds

Every cartoon is custom-made. All payments and priority-production fees are final once character generation or story production begins. My Birthday Cartoon will correct verified production errors or materially defective scenes. Refunds are limited to duplicate charges, fraudulent transactions, a missed promised delivery deadline as described in this Delivery Policy, or orders Reclaim Coaching LLC determines it cannot fulfill, subject to applicable law. Priority production purchases receive priority placement; if the priority deadline is missed, the applicable priority fee is refunded. If the seven-day deadline is missed, the order is refunded in full.

A three-day order delivered after its priority deadline but within seven days receives a $100 priority-fee refund. A 24-hour order delivered after its priority deadline but within seven days receives a $500 priority-fee refund. Any order missing the absolute seven-day deadline receives a full refund of amounts paid for that order, including the credited preview deposit and applicable production add-ons. Automated breach checks are idempotent and reconciled with Stripe; the support chatbot cannot initiate refunds.

Preview deposit

The single $25 preview deposit covers one five-concept batch for an order and is credited once to the final purchase. It is nonrefundable after preview generation if the purchaser abandons or cancels, but that term does not override applicable law, duplicate or fraudulent charge remedies, inability to fulfill, or the missed seven-day remedy.
